Our Commitment to Community Engagement
We prioritize community involvement through our dedicated initiatives such as Volunteer Days, where every employee and Coop member is offered 15 hours to volunteer in their local community.

Environmental conservation is a core value at The Coop. We recognize our responsibility to protect and preserve the natural environment for the well-being of current and future generations. Through our sustainable practices and initiatives, we aim to make a positive impact on the planet and ensure a greener and healthier world.
Our Approach
At The Coop, we actively foster environmental consciousness by raising awareness among our employees and members by encouraging the efficient use of resources within all our offices across Québec and Ontario. This includes promoting responsible practices related to waste management, electricity consumption, raw materials usage, and other resources, especially those that are non-renewable.
In addition, we are committed to reducing our carbon footprint by giving our employees the option to work from home. This initiative not only enhances work-life balance but also significantly reduces the need for daily commutes, resulting in a considerable decrease in carbon emissions.
When our employees do need to commute to work, we wholeheartedly endorse the use of public transportation. As part of our commitment to environmental sustainability, we cover the cost of public transportation for our employees, encouraging them to opt for greener commuting alternatives.
Furthermore, we prioritize forming business partnerships with agencies, suppliers, contractors, and vendors who share our commitment to environmental sustainability. By collaborating with like-minded entities, we can collectively work towards creating a greener and more sustainable future.
